Who we are
Glab IT Solutions SRL is a European cybersecurity and engineering firm headquartered in Oradea, Romania. Our clients have spread across the map from the beginning — Italy, Romania and beyond — and we still work the same way: a small, senior team, in direct contact with the people whose systems we touch.
The company was incorporated in Oradea in 2008 as a custom-software business; in 2016 it became glabit.com, a web agency: logos, websites, web applications, hosting, and getting businesses found on Google. That practice continues today as Secure Engineering. What changed is where the risk moved. The applications we build are attacked; the companies we host are phished; the regulators our clients answer to now write security into law. So we built the security side of the firm around the engineering side — the same people who build systems now test, harden and monitor them.
How we work
- Written scope, written rules. Every engagement starts with a signed scope and, for testing, signed rules of engagement. No surprises on either side.
- Evidence over adjectives. Findings come with reproduction steps and proof; recommendations come with the reason and the risk of not doing it. We would rather tell you something is fine than invent a problem.
- We fix, not just report. Because we build software, we can remediate much of what we find — in code, configuration or process — and retest it.
- Your language, your regulator. Reports, workshops and incident calls in English, Italian or Romanian; compliance work in the vocabulary of ACN, DNSC or your auditor.
- Independence. We are not a reseller. Tooling is chosen for your estate; you own the tenants and the data.
What we do not do
We do not run offensive operations without written authorisation, we do not publish client names without permission, and we do not claim certifications, SLAs or coverage we do not have. When something is outside what we do well, we say so and refer you on.
